It does not take much to convince that politics is a dirty business. The main argument in favour of the above conclusion should be the current situation in Poland. What should be stressed is the fact that more and more people represent such a position on the Polish government and its rivals. The politicians apply for various measures to discredit their opponents in public eyes. Moreover, politicians - in order to defeat their opponents - use arguments that in common opinion should be considered as taboos. The great example are the accusations towards Jacek Kuro of maintaining the constant contacts with Polish special services in the 80s. What a beautiful attack on person responsible for building new domestic reality! Surely, I can not be called "a big fan" of people currently governing Poland. But on the other hand, even those who voted for PiS in the last year election, feel ashamed of the methods applied by the government to make Poland a "normal country" with "similar chance for each citizen". The current situation in our country shows that this normality is considered in very different way that is supposed to.
Some said that power was the greatest drug on Earth. If there is a drug, you can not mention clarity . This leads to the conclusion that politics - as related with power particularly - can not be a clear business. Too much temptations to follow your personal interests.
